Work Truck Crashes into Ford on FM-2288 Sending Two to the Hospital

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Two people were sent to the hospital after a Dodge Ram work truck crashed into a Ford Focus on FM 2288 Wednesday morning.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Brian Bylsma, the Ford and the Dodge were both traveling southwest on FM 2288 with the work truck in the left lane and the Ford in the right lane.  The work truck attempted to turn right into a private drive and crashed into the Ford.

Officer Bylsma said there were three people in the Ford.  The driver and front seat passenger were taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

The driver of the work truck was issued a citation for making an unsafe right hand turn.
