Crash Leaves Dangerous Power Lines Down Across Airport Road

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a white four door pickup crashed into a power pole on Airport Road past the Knickerbocker cutoff Tuesday evening leaving power lines hanging dangerously across the roadway.

Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded to the crash along with San Angelo Police officers and Tom Green County Sheriff's deputies. 

The driver of the pickup apparently lost control and hit the power pole shearing it off at the ground. 

Law enforcement officers have diverted traffic around the crash. 

This is a developing story.
