UPDATE: Rollover Crash on 19th and N. Bryant Injures One

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo First Responders are working a major crash at the intersection of 19th St. and N. Bryant that has an unknown number of injuries. 

Details are sketchy at this time but reporters on the scene say traffic is blocked. 

The SAPD issued an alert advising drivers to avoid the intersection. 

This is a developing story. 

UPDATE Wednesday 11:00 a.m.

San Angelo Police Department Investigating Officer Brian Bylsma says one person was injured in the crash.  The two vehicle crash resulted in a 2009 Chevy Silverado rolling over.  

The driver of a 2018 Nissan was stopped at the red light eastbound on 19th St.  When the light changed the driver of the Nissan entered the intersection. 

The driver of the Silverado disregarded the red light and crashed into the Nissan causing the Silverado to rollover on its side.  There were four people in the Silverado and none were injured. 

The driver of the Nissan received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.  

The driver of the Silverado was issued citations for expired plates and disregarding the red light.
