House Burns Down on Christmas Day

CISCO, TX-- A Cisco, TX home has burned to the ground on Christmas day.

Cisco Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a burning house at around 11 p.m. When they got there they found that the house was fully engulfed and it would be a defensive fire, which is where they would just try to keep the fire from spreading.

Fire Chief Walter Fairbanks said that the fire started in the garage where several containers full of gas caused the fire expand to the house.

All five people inside made it out safely, but the house and three cars burned down.

The investigation has been handed over to the Texas State Fire Marshall's office.
