Disabled Individual Injured After Jumping From Moving Vehicle on Knickerbocker Rd.

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A scary situation Monday afternoon during drive time on Knickerbocker Rd. left a special needs patient with unknown head injuries.  

According to investigating San Angelo Police Officer Gonzalez, the vehicle was coming from day-hab when a disabled individual apparently got upset with his caretaker and decided to jump from the moving vehicle.  

The disabled person hit his head on the pavement.  He had some minor lacerations on his head and sustained unknown head trauma and was taken by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. 

Gonzalez said no citations will be issued.
