Crash Snarls Traffic Between Walmart and the New H-E-B on Sherwood Way

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Traffic slowed to a crawl Tuesday night on Sherwood Way between the Walmart Super Center and the new H-E-B grocery store as a two vehicle crash blocked driving lanes.

A reporter at the scene said the crash wasn't serious but ambulances were called to the scene.

San Angelo Police were directing traffic around the crash at one of the busiest stretches of roadway in San Angelo while officers investigated the crash.

According to our reporter at the scene, a Honda crashed into a Nissan Xterra and the Xterra then hit a third car.

The driver of the Honda was issued a citation for failure to control speed.

The driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital.

This is an ongoing investigation and we will update this story if new information becomes available.
