Drivers Escape Serious Injury When Caddy Causes Rush Hour Crash

SAN ANGELO,TX -- Two drivers escaped serious injury Wednesday afternoon during a rush hour crash on S. Abe and W. Ave. D that blocked traffic.

San Angelo Police Department Investigating officer Welch said a Dodge Durango was southbound on S. Abe when the driver of a Caddillac pulled out in front of the Durango at the intersection.

The Durango struck the Cadillac spinning it around.

Welch said the drivers were the sole occupants of each vehicle and no one was transported to the hospital.

The far right southbound lanes of S. Abe were closed during the crash investigation.

The driver of the Cadillac was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way at the stop sign.
