Driver Who Crashed Pickup into Fox News Studio Targeted the Media and Had a Beef with Cops

Updated 1:17 p.m.  Police have identified the driver as Michael Chadwick Fry, of Bartonville, TX. He was charged with criminal mischief, a second-degree felony.

Police records show Fry,34, had been arrested dozens of times for assault, drug and theft charges.

He was reportedly yelling about 'high treason' and said the cops were trying to kill him.  He was the passenger in a car in 2012 in which the driver was shot and killed by officers.

Fry was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Arresting officers said Fry wasn't making much sense when he was arrested.  He was cooperative and there were no injuries.

Employees of Fox 34 News were allowed back in the building around mid morning.
