Pedestrian Walks out in Front of Motorcycle in North San Angelo Intersection

 

SAN ANGELO, TX --  A San Angelo man was injured when he was struck by a motorcycle while crossing the street near the intersection of 19th St. and N. Bryant Friday evening. 

According to investigating officer Rodriguez with the San Angelo Police Department, the man walking across the street was not in the crosswalk and was weaving in and out of traffic.  

He was struck by a motorcycle and injured.  The motorcycle was traveling west on 19th St. when it struck the pedestrian.  Officer Rodriguez says the motorcycle rider had a minor laceration on his elbow and was treated at the scene.  

The crash is under investigation.  Officer Rogriguez says the pedestrian may be cited for failure to yield the right of way.
