Residents Survive Overnight Apartment Fire

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Firefighters quickly doused an apartment fire Thursday night at the Arden Ridge apartments after a fire started in the kitchen.

According to Johnny Fisher with the San Angelo Fire Department, the apartment fire began in the kitchen.  

Engine five, Engine two, ladder one and rescue one responded to the fire and engine seven was called in as backup.

The fire was knocked down quickly and was contained in the kitchen.  No one was injured, but the residents of the apartment had to be relocated because of smoke damage.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
