Midland Man Killed in Hit & Run Crash

MIDLAND, TX -- Authorities in Midland are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run crash Sunday. 

According to the Midland County Sheriff's Office, a 53-year-old Midland man died early Sunday morning after being struck and killed in the 2500 block of Elkins Rd. 

The driver left the scene.

The victim was later identified as Isa Velasquez Romero Jr.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.  Anyone with information can call DPS at 498-2100, MCSO at 688-4600 or Midland Crime Stoppers at 694-8477.
