SAN ANGELO, TX-- The driver of a Mazda pickup truck was sent to the hospital Monday evening after a blowout sent his truck tumbling down an embankment on Loop 306.
The Mazda was traveling westbound when it's tire blew out, according to witness statements. Police estimate the truck rolled 15 feet down the hill during the crash.
It was a single-vehicle crash with only one occupant in the vehicle.
Police say the driver was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
