Mercedes Bursts Into Flames Blocking Mall Entrance

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a Mercedes escaped injury Tuesday afternoon at Sunset Mall after the vehicle caught fire and burned to the ground.

According to reporters on the scene, the four door Mercedes blocked the north exit of the mall parking lot.  

The driver was attempting to exit the parking lot onto Sunset Dr. when the rear of the car caught fire. 

San Angelo police and firefighters responded and put the fire out.  

No one was injured. 

Smoke from the burning Mercedes could be seen for miles.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
