HASKELL, TX -- A 19-year-old Haskell man was killed Monday after crashing into a bunch of feral hogs.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Fred Biddle, Stetson James Cantrell was driving south on FM 600 about 5 miles southeast of Haskell just after midnight Monday morning
when his 2001 Ford F150 struck multiple feral hogs.
Biddle says Cantrell lost control of the pickup and crashed into a utility pole.
Cantrell was transported to Haskell where he was pronounced dead.
The crash is still under investigation.
