Ector County Sheriff's Deputy Crashes into a Horse

 

ODESSA, TX — (Press Release) A deputy responding to a call was involved in a crash early Tuesday morning.

The deputy was responding to a vehicle accident at Hwy 302 and 1936 about 6:20 a.m. when a horse ran onto the roadway.

The patrol unit struck the horse, then collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The officer and the other driver were transported to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident at this time.
