UPDATE 1:20 p.m. The structure fire on W. 3rd St. in downtown San Angelo is contained. The location is across the street and just down from the San Angelo Central High School Freshman Campus.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire. As of now, no injuries were reported at the scene.
The structure is a complete loss. Firefighters battled the blaze from all sides and there was a small grass fire that was contained next to the structure.
UPDATE 12:20 p.m. Reporters on the scene say they heard explosions. There is a collapse of a wall and roof. It is now a 4 alarm fire.

Reporters on the scene say the building is fully engulfed.

I guarantee it's those gosh dang homeless bums that shack up wherever they can that started it with a candle or cooking fire something similar........ Time to issue one way bus tickets to California for any of them caught that can't produce some valid form of proof that they have a legal home or apartment to reside in.....

PermalinkSo, you are suggesting that every person should carry a copy of their lease/mortgage contract with them at all times. If you’re asked to produce proof of domicile and cannot, then you’ll be placed on a bus to California against your will. That sounds super reasonable. Will there be someone on the bus to make sure they stay on it? What if they try to deboard in Phoenix?
