Three Vehicle Crash on Knickerbocker Slows Nasworthy Fireworks Traffic

 

UPDATED 7/4/2018 7:50 p.m.  A Blue Ford F-150 pulled in front of another vehicle which caused that vehicle to put on its brakes and go into the center turn lane. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Investigating Officer Pollitt, that caused three vehicles behind them to crash.  The Blue F-150 took off.  One woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. . 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- At least three vehicles crashed on Knickerbocker Road just past the Bentwood traffic light slowing traffic headed to Lake Nasworthy for the Independence Day fireworks display. 

We are waiting on the official statement from law enforcement at the scene.  

A small black car shows signs of being rear ended.  There's damage to the front of a Ford Bronco and there seems to be damage to the rear of a Ford F150 pickup. 

The roadway seems to be wet from recent rain in photographs.  

No word yet on injuries or citations.
