The last thing I say to my husband or my daughter as they leave the house is 'drive carefully'....this town is nuts. I have never seen a town this size with so many traffic accidents...

These last few yaears have been my first to live in a town this size. Are these numbers of wrecks daily

and weekly normal for a town this size, or are we seeing something different?

It just seems excessive ,when almost every trip to town you see a wreck of some kind.

It's fairly normal... Welcome to Summer in San Angelo... Don't just "drive safe", but "watch out for those who aren't driving safe".

The only thing worse than this is when you add ice to our city.

I have been here long enough to know , if we have ice, STAY HOME.

I am lucky to not have to go out, I feel for folks who have to go to work.

After some reading, this subject is pushing self driving cars. ( bad driving humans)

Apparently the powers that be , think computers driving cars will be safer than individuals.

I am not ready to buy in, but probably will not be around to see if total self driving cars come to fruition.
