SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a white Nissan Xterra turned left from the right lane in front of a blue Chevy Traverse on S. Koenigheim onto Ave. B by the San Angelo Visitor’s Center Monday morning causing a crash than injured the Traverse driver.
Both vehicles were northbound on S. Koenigheim when the crash occurred.
According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Laudermilk, the driver of the Traverse sustained injuries from the airbag and lacerations to her forearms. She was treated by medics at the scene and was not transported to the hospital.
The driver of the Nissan was cited for making an unsafe lane change.
