Woman Escapes Injury After Turning in Front of a Truck

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A Woman driving a white Honda four-door sedan escaped injury Friday after turning left in front of a local delivery truck at the intersection of S. Abe St. and W. Beauregard Ave. near Lonestar Cheese Burger.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Welch, the Christians in Action delivery truck was in the left lane and the white Honda was in the middle lane.  The driver of the Honda turned left in front of the delivery truck and the vehicles crashed.

Welch says the driver of the Honda will be cited for an unsafe left turn.  Welch said drivers need to be aware to be in the correct lane to turn left.

The driver of the Honda was checked by medics but no one else was injured.
