Three Sustain Injuries in Accident on Sherwood Way

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Just after 4:00 p.m., a major motor vehicle accident was called at the 5700 block of Sherwood Way in front of Sam’s Club.

Upon arrival, it appeared to be a two-car accident involving a maroon Jeep Laredo and a dark brown Honda Civic.

The Honda was traveling eastbound towards Southland. The Jeep was heading westbound and was in the left lane wanting to take a left into the Sam’s Club private drive.

According to Officer Bradshaw with the San Angelo Police Department, the Jeep attempted to make the left turn and the Honda heading eastbound collided with them.

There was two occupants in the jeep and they went to Shannon with unknown injuries and the occupant of the Honda went to Concho Valley ER with minor injuries.

The driver of the Jeep Laredo was given a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way.

Traffic in the eastbound lane was diverted to the passing lane while clean up of the scene is underway.
