Local Man Injured in Single Vehicle Accident

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — One man was injured Friday morning in the 1900 block of Sunset Dr. when a Chrysler 200 blasted through the gravel parking lot of Glazer’s Beer and Beverage and crashed through the wooden guide wire posted outside Frontier Communications.

Officer Brian Bylsma with the San Angelo Police Department conducted the crash investigation, “Upon arrival, I discovered a single car accident that occurred on private property.”

The driver told the investigating officer that he could not remember what happened. “The driver told me, he remembered driving toward Sunset driver from the Glazer’s parking lot but cannot remember anything after that,” said the officer.

The driver of the red Chrysler 200 was taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.

There were no citations given, as it occurred on private property, and at this time it is believed the crash occurred form an unknown medical condition.

Police do not believe alcohol was involved.
