UPDATE
SAN ANGELO, TX — The rollover crash reported at the 4000 block of W. Houston Harte Frontage Road has been cleared.
Tracy Gonzalez with the San Angelo Police Department said, “The vehicle left the roadway and collided with the guidewire, then left the guidewire and collided with the utility pole. The vehicle came to rest on its top.”
Reports from witnesses at the scene said a female driver and a male occupant had fled the crash scene and into a nearby field. They were located and taken into custody during the crash investigation.
During the preliminary crash investigation, it was discovered that the male passenger was violating a protective order by being with the female driver. He was subsequently transported to Tom Green County jail.

The female driver said that she was messing with the radio when she went off the roadway.
