Harley Rider Seriously Injured in Crash with Nissan

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- An elderly San Angelo woman backing out of her driveway in the 200 block of Mockingbird Saturday morning allegedly didn't see the red Harley Davidson motorcycle and the two collided sending the Harley rider to the hospital.  

According to witnesses at the scene, the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet and had a possible injury to his shin and a possible skull fracture.

He was not wearing a helmet.  

San Angelo Police Officers continue to investigate the mid morning crash in the quiet neighborhood between Sherwood Way and Arden Road.

This is the second motorcycle crash in San Angelo involving a Harley Davidson motorcycle in two days.  

On Friday, a Harley Davidson rider was seriously injured in a crash on Sunset Blvd. near the mall.

Why no flippin' helmit? I know, it's not required by law here, but why in heck wouldn't you want all the protection you can get when riding a bike?
