New Photos: Orig-Equip, Premier Automotive Employees Rescue Woman and 2 Children from Teetering Car

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A woman and her two children were rescued from a car hanging off the edge of the roadway at Glenna and Houston Harte Friday morning.  

According to San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez, the 36-year-old woman told officers she was driving east on Glenna when a red pickup cut her off.  She said she swerved to avoid the collision and went off the roadway.

The woman and her two children, a 9-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy, were rescued by employees of Orig-Equip and Premier Automotive.  According to Gonzalez, the good samaritans had chains and a truck and they hooked the chains up to the car and managed to get the woman and children out of the teetering car.  

Fortunately no one was injured in the crash.  

Gonzalez says the are currently asking anyone who saw the crash or has any information about the red pickup to call the police non emergency number 325-657-4315.
