SAN ANGELO, TX — Skid marks tell the story. A maroon-colored Ford Mustang was west on the Houston Harte frontage road and its driver did everything he could to avoid a stop sign-running driver of a silver Buick.
The crash sent the two drivers, both sole occupants of their respective cars, to Shannon Medical Center. The driver of the Buick went by ambulance.
Police noted the skid marks laid down by the Mustang. “He just couldn’t stop in time,” police said. The Mustang T-boned the Buick.
Police said the driver of the Buick was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign. Police said witnesses told them that the Buick actually ran two stop signs.
The crash happened at La Follette St., the Houston Harte access road, at Smith Blvd. near the PaulAnn neighborhood at around noon.
