Intense Fire Under Control at Home on E. 22nd St. Sunday

 

Updated 5:15 p.m.

The address of the fire is 87 E. 22nd St. called in by a neighbor and there was no one at home at the time the fire was called in approximately 3:30 p.m.

According to the Joanna Jackson with the Fire Marshall's office at the scene, the cause of the fire is unknown and still under investigation.  

"We know (the fire damage) is in the back of the house and there was a shed that was also damaged."  

The damage to the home is so extensive the residents will not be able to live there at this time.  

Four crews responded to the blaze and no injuries were reported.  

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police and Firefighters responded to a structure fire Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of E. 22nd St. in North San Angelo.  

Reporters on the scene report thick smoke coming from the back of the back of the residence.

No word yet on the cause of the blaze or how much damage was done.  

At this time there are no injuries reported.
