Mitsubishi on Wrong Side Causes Crash, Sends 2 to Hospital

SAN ANGELO, TX-- A two-car crash forced traffic into the grass on the 2700 block of N. Bell St. early Wednesday afternoon.

A white Mitsubishi Gallant and a grey GMC Yukon were involved in the crash.

The Yukon was headed north on Bell when the southbound Gallant came around the corner on the wrong side of the road, according to Officer Welch of the San Angelo PD's traffic division.

The Gallant tried to swerve back to the right side of the road, but was struck by the Yukon.

The driver of the Yukon and her child were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Gallant was issued a citation for driving left of the center and causing an accident.
