Odessa Teen Injured in a Hit-and-Run Today

 

ODESSA, TX — Police in Odessa are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred Monday afternoon.

The crash was reported at the intersection of East 42nd Street and Grandview Avenue around 1:30 p.m., according to CBS7.

The Odessa police said the 17-year-old victim of the hit-and-run was trying to cross Grandview when a 2008-2010 silver Chevy Silverado with dark tinted windows struck him.

The truck then left the scene without stopping to help or ask if the teen was okay.

The teen was taken to a local hospital, Medical Center Hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.

The time would put that at prime time for Permian students to be out and about. The little darlings are notorious for walking right in front of cars. Surprised it doesn't happen more often.
