Multiple Crashes on Icy Roadways Thursday Morning

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a Toyota Tundra walked away uninjured from a single vehicle crash Thursday morning on an icy U.S. 67 near Harriett.

Temperatures are hovering just below freezing and there is some drizzle and frozen precipitation falling.  Forecasters have issued a Winter Weather Advisory until noon Thursday.

The Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.  Further down the road, there was a trailer on the side of the road.  No information on whether it was involved in a crash.

A white pickup was pulling the trailer.  The trailer became detached and the pickup crashed.  The SUV pictured hit a guardrail near Crow’s Nest Creek.
