City Cavalry Rushes to Clean Carnage Left Behind by Busted Hydraulic Line

SAN ANGELO, TX — A small crane called an Ahern Skytrak forklift sprung a leak on Avenue N near A&M Street this afternoon.

The Skyjack equipped with forklifts dumped its load of hydraulic fluid in the roadway as it made its way from near where the leak was discovered at the A&M intersection to and into the parking lot of the Tres Amigos Convenience Store at the five-way intersection of College Hills and Avenue N.

Traffic was delayed and lanes closed as fire department personnel applied oil absorbent to soak up the fluid.

The Cavalry refers to the number of police and fire department vehicles and personnel required to clear the hydraulic fluid and divert traffic.
