Steel Girder Takes Out Signal Light at Pulliam and Bell Streets

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of an oversized load hauling a steel girder failed to make the corner at Bell St. and Pulliam Ave. in San Angelo Tuesday afternoon taking out the signal light and blocking the intersection for hours.

The oversized rig was turning onto Pulliam from Bell St. and took out the light pole on the corner by Los Panchitos.  

San Angelo Police had the intersection blocked off and were directing traffic around the rig which stretched completely across the intersection.  

No word yet on injuries or citations.  The investigation continues.
