White SUV KO’s parked Kia in West San Angelo Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A man driving a white Mercury SUV was sent to the hospital after a crash on 19th St. at Brown St. Saturday morning.  

According to investigating San Angelo Police Department officer Watson, the driver of a white Mercury SUV was westbound on 19th St. at approximately 10:45 a.m. Saturday.   He was distracted by water on the roadway and struck brown Kia that was parked on 19th St.

The collision drove both vehicles across the roadway where they came to rest against the eastbound curb.   

The Mercury driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital for minor injuries.  The two occupants in the Kia were slightly injured but and were evaluated at the scene but not treated.  

No citations were issued at the scene.  Officer Watson said the investigation continues and a citation is possible.   Weather was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
