48-year-old Lawn Man Killed in Early Morning Rollover Crash

ABILENE, TX – Abilene Police are investigating an early morning single-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a 48-year-old Lawn man.  Lawn is located in the southeastern area of Taylor county between Coleman and Abilene.

According to local reports, the fatal rollover occurred around 5:45 a.m. this morning. The driver of the pickup was driving on Winters Freeway near North 10th St. in Abilene when the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The car landed a few yards away in the median. 

The accident blocked northbound traffic.  A Taylor County Justice of the Peace pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
