Failure to Yield Causes Major Crash at the Intersection of 38th and Chadbourne

 

Around noon today, San Angelo Police were dispatched to the intersection of 38th St. and Chadbourne for a major crash, sending one driver to the hospital. 

The driver of the Cadillac CTS stopped at the stop sign heading southbound on Coliseum Dr. before crossing onto Chadbourne St., officer Hunger said. The Cadillac preceded to cross onto 38th St. and pulled in front of the gray Nissan SUV that was southbound on Chadbourne.

All injures were non-incapacitating according to officer Hunger. The driver of the Nissan was transported to a local hospital, while the driver of the Cadillac refused medical treatment for a slight cut to her arm.

A citation was issued to driver of the Cadillac for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign, according to officer Hunger.
