Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Frederick Biddle told KTXS that the cause of the rollover was because “the driver of the truck veered off the road and overcorrected.” The truck belongs to the company Complete US Freight of Dallas, and has received a significant amount of damage. The cinder blocks the semi was towing scattered along the side of the roadway.
The truck driver’s identity has not been released, and his current medical condition is unknown. No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
According to the Eastland Fire Department, the crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. near the 337-mile marker.
Biddle added, “The crash did not cause any traffic delays, [and] the scene had been cleared sometime before 11 a.m.
This crash is currently under investigation.
