Driver Runs Red Light, Gets Struck by Saturn and Flips Over

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The driver of a white Toyota sedan flipped over on Avenue N and West Beauregard this afternoon after running a red light and colliding with a blue Saturn.

Just before 4 p.m., San Angelo Police were dispatched to the intersection for the report of a crash with entrapment. Sgt. Shah said the driver of a white Toyota was traveling towards the intersection on College Hills and ran a red light. The blue Saturn was making a right turn onto Beauregard and struck the white vehicle.

Sgt. Shah said there were two passengers in the white vehicle, and no major injuries were reported, but medics are still making an assessment. The driver of the blue Saturn suffered only bumps and bruises.

Sgt. Shah said there will be a citation for running a red light and for “financial responsibility issues.”

For now, please avoid the area as first responders clear the intersection.
