Chevy Fails to Yield Right of Way: Demolishes Hyundai Azera

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - This afternoon, at around 1:30 p.m. a major crash occurred on S. US. 87. Officer Aldrete of the San Angelo Police Department responded to the call regarding two vehicles.

He said a red passenger car was traveling southbound on US 87 and Broadnax, and was crossing over from north to south on Broadnax Rd.

Aldrete explained that the white Chevy pickup failed to yield the right of way to the red Hyundai Azera. As a result, the pickup was struck by the Hyundai on the right side.

The driver of the car, a female, sustained minor injuries. There were no additional passengers in either vehicles.

The male driver of the white Chevy was issued a citation for failing to yield right of way at an open intersection.
