SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver of a black Cadillac sedan caused a crash on Sherwood Way that sent a Chrysler Town & Country minivan into a fence of a residence, police said.
According to San Angelo Police Traffic Investigator Officer Ed Hunger, the minivan was eastbound on Sherwood Way approaching the Oxford intersection. The Cadillac turned left onto Oxford in front of the minivan.
As a result of the collision, the minivan went out-of-control, across the south median, across the frontage road and into the backyard fence of a residence.
Hunger said no one had visible injuries, but both occupants of the minivan, the driver and a single passenger were transported to Shannon Medical Center to be checked.
The driver and single occupant of the Cadillac did not go to the hospital from the scene.
Hunger said the Cadillac driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way during a left turn. The crash happened at approximately 2:30 p.m. today.
