SAN ANGELO, TX – Two drivers went to Shannon Medical Center this afternoon after a crash on FM 2288 and Arden Road.
A San Angelo Police officer at the scene said, shortly after noon, an Irion County vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, was traveling westbound on Arden Road. The driver stopped at a stop sign, looked both ways, didn’t see anyone coming and proceeded westbound.
However, that’s when the crash happened, said the officer.
The Silverado and a brown Chevrolet Suburban collided.
Everyone involved in the crash went to Shannon Medical Center, said the officer. He did not know, however, if there were other passengers in the Suburban.
Additionally, he said the driver of the Irion County vehicle will receive a citation for failing to yield right of way from a stop sign.
