A San Angelo man went to the hospital this morning with unknown injuries after losing control of his 2016 Ford F-150 at the exit of HWY 277 and 67, heading north out of San Angelo.
At about 8:45 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to a rollover crash in the area involving a single vehicle and occupant. The driver was reported as being "entrapped."
When responders arrived, they found the pickup rolled over on the passenger side. They had to break out the front windshield so the driver could get out. San Angelo Police Officer Gesch said the man was able to get out on his own. Although he appeared to have suffered injury, the driver was responding; and, after being removed, the driver was strapped to a stretcher and transported to Shannon Hospital
Officer Gesch said, based on what they have thus far, the Ford was coming around the entrance ramp of US 277 when the driver lost control of the pickup and hit a tree, which caused him to spin around and roll over onto the truck's right side.
"He did a quarter roll," said Officer Gesch.
Officer Gesch said the man didn't appear to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

Story is faulty, Gesch then actually talked to the driver of this pickup (which this idiot didnt do) and got the full story. F-150 was passing a dump truck in the inside lane, dump truck moves into F-150 lane hits f-150 in passenger rear door and sends f-150 into a spin in which he then hits a tree and flips. Gesch confirms this story to be consistent with the tire marks in the roadway. Get your facts before posting faulty stories.
