A female passenger was transported to an area hospital this morning after a crash on Sherwood Way and Southland Blvd.
Ed Hunger, Traffic Investigator for the San Angelo Police Department, said the driver of a black Chevrolet Impala was traveling eastbound on Sherwood Way a little after 11:30 a.m. At the same time, the driver of a maroon Chevrolet TrailBlazer made a left turn in front of the Impala and hit the vehicle on the side.
The passenger in the Impala was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“She was alert and talking,” Hunger said.
Hunger also said the driver of the TrailBlazer received a citation for failing to yield the right of way while turning left.
