Trooper Justin Baker, safety education and public information officer for DPS, said troopers responded to a crash at around 4:30 p.m. in the area. He said the female driver of a 1995 Chevy S10 was traveling southbound on Rust Road and attempting to cross the intersection on FM 2105. The driver of the Ford F-150, containing three children between the ages of 8 and 15, was traveling eastbound on FM 2105. The driver of the Chevy S10 stopped at the intersection and proceeded to cross 2105; however, she failed to yield the right of way to the Ford F-150, so the pickup struck her vehicle.
