Loudermilk said the male driver was around 23 years old, born in 1993. The condition of the driver is not known, he said. The injured driver was transported to Shannon Medical Center.
The investigation so far revealed that the red compact car was headed north in the 4300 block of S. Jackson St. when the car rammed a utility pole and rolled over in the crash, trapping the driver. No other vehicles were involved.
Loudermilk said that his next step in the investigation is to visit with the injured driver at Shannon.
