A Dodge and Ford Collide on Paint Rock Road

 

Shortly after 6 p.m. this evening, the driver of a Ford Escape collided with a red Dodge pickup after the driver of the pickup failed to yield the right of way, said Officer Morris with the San Angelo Police Department.

Officer Morris said the Dodge pickup failed to yield the right of way coming out of a private driveway in the 100 block of Paint Rock Rd. The Ford Escape was traveling eastbound on Paint Rock when the pickup pulled out in front of it.

“The driver tried to react,” said Officer Morris. However, thanks to the wet roads, the two vehicles collided.

Officer Morris said there were three people traveling in the Ford, and only one in the Dodge. No one sustained any injuries. However, the driver of the pickup received a citation for failing to yield the right of way from a private drive.
