Around 3:00 p.m., Officer Alvarez, with the San Angelo Police Department, said he happened to stumble upon an accident at S. Bryant Blvd. and Avenue N. While driving by, Alvarez noticed the collision and notified dispatch.
The collision occurred between a black Ford F-150 and a light blue Ford Mustang. The F-150 was heading north when it collided with the Mustang, which was heading east. Apparently, the driver of the F-150 ran a red light, and received a citation.
The woman driving the Mustang was taken to Community Hospital. She complained of neck pain, and had bruising on her arm and foot.
