Driver Disregards Red Light, Causes Crash in North San Angelo

 

Another San Angelo driver went to Shannon Medical Center this afternoon after a collision in the 600 block of E. 29th St.

Officer Hill, with the San Angelo Police Department, said the driver of a silver Dodge Caravan was traveling northbound on Grape Creek Road when the driver of a silver Nissan Titan, who was traveling eastbound on 29th St., disregarded a red light and collided with the minivan.

The driver of the minivan was transported to Shannon Medical Center, while the two occupants of the Nissan suffered no injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

“I don’t know the extent of the injuries. I’m going to Shannon right now,” said Officer Hill.
