Today around 11:50 a.m., the Tom Green County Sheriffs Office, Water Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Texas DPS were dispatched to a collision that happened at the intersection of Spring Ave. and US 87 N.
The collision occurred between a blue Acura and a blue Mitsubishi Outlander. Officer Garza, from DPS said, "Basically, the Outlander turned in front of the Acura. It was a quick collision." The Outlander ended up rolled over on its side as a result of the crash.
Both cars only had one occupant, the drivers. Both of the drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Outlander was given a citation for a fail to yield the right of way.
