Chevy Impala Collides with Pickup and School Bus Filled with 17 Students

At approximately 3:35 p.m. today, 17 students with the San Angelo Independent School District heading home from school had a bit of a scare after the driver of a Chevy Impala collided with their bus and another vehicle in the 900 block of E. Houston Harte.

Officer Steven Quade, with the San Angelo Police Department, said the driver of a bus was traveling westbound in the outside right lane while a Dodge Pickup traveled in the left lane. The driver of a white Chevy Impala was traveling behind the bus. The driver went to change lanes, but the pickup was in his blind spot, so he hit the pickup, bounced off, and hit the bus, said Quade.

He added that one citation was issued to the driver of the Impala for an unsafe lane change.

Oh my god, your news site has become so frustrating, I wish you would just charge a subscription and quit forcing us to watch videos and take surveys to read a news article. Every month you add more advertising and bs to your site I no longer look forward to reading your reports anymore. I know you have overhead costs l, I respect that, but please either charge us or don't quit forcing us to watch videos and most especially take surveys to read your news. It has forced me to go back to Go San Angelo.
