Failure to Yield Results in Another Accident

 

Today at 3:42, the San Angelo Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a white Chrysler and a white Ford Expedition on East 19th Street and North Oakes Street. As of now two of the far west bound lanes are closed on 19th street, but should be cleared quickly.

The Ford Expedition was trying to turn left onto the 1900 block of Oakes Street but failed to yield the right away to the Chrysler that was heading West bound on 19th Street. In result the vehicles collided, and thankfully there are no reported injuries at this time.

The San Angelo Police Department will continue to investigate the scene and will determine if any citations will be given.
